Erase Internet History

Erasing your internet history will prevent anyone from finding out that you’ve visited this site.

 

If you are using Internet Explorer:


1. Open the Tools menu, and select Internet Options.

2. Under Browsing History, click the Delete button.

3. If you want to delete your Internet history every time you close your window, select Delete browsing history on exit.

 

If you are using Mozilla Firefox:


1. Go to the Tools menu button above the address bar. (If you can’t see it, you probably have the newest version of Firefox. Just click on the orange Firefox button on the top left-hand corner)

2. Click and select Clear Recent History.



3. There’s a choice to select what time range to clear. Choose one and click Clear Now.

4. Alternatively, press Ctrl+Shift+Del on your keyboard to call out the Clear Recent History window.

 

NOTE: If you want to keep to avoid clearing your history, you can use Firefox’s Private Browsing mode. To access,

  1. Click the Tools button
  2. Select Start Private Browsing

 

If you are using Google Chrome:

  1. Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. Select Clear browsing data.
  4. In the dialog that appears, select the “Clear browsing history” checkbox.
  5. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data you want to delete. Select beginning of time to clear your entire browsing history.
  6. Click Clear browsing data.

 

NOTE: If you want to keep to avoid clearing your history, you can use Chrome’s Incognito mode. To access,

  1. Click the wrench icon tools menu on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select New incognito window.

If you use Opera:

1. Select File, and then Preferences.


2. Choose History, and then click the Empty Now button.


3. If you want to delete your Internet history every time you close your window, select Empty on exit.
