This novel event creates a platform for Volunteers In Action Concordia (VIA), and aims to engage the male gender in our *V-Day campaign*. Cognizant males are an integral part in advocating an end to violence …against women. With this in mind, we are fostering the idea that males should not be narrowly viewed as mere perpetrators inflicting violence against women.VIA ( Volunteers in Action ) Concordia will host this break-dancing competition to “Break the Silence” by allowing the males to become a vital component in the solution for ending violence against women!

This buzz worthy event is bound to generate enthusiasm by the masses at large and conspicuously provide the VIA with an avenue to speak out against the social ailment of gendered violence.Proceeds from this event will be donated to *Women Aware*; a non-profit, community-based organization whose *mission* is to put an end domestic violence against women, youth, and children.
